The group Ikara was founded in the Ecuadorian Amazonian Kichwan village Sarayacu, by local youths practicing music and ancestral dance.	Ikaraga Sarayaku ukumandami wiñarin. Ñaupapachamanda takigunata takisha, tushuigunata tushusha kausaunguna.	La agrupación Ikara nace en la comunidad kichwa de Sarayacu conformada por jóvenes de la comunidad, que practican la música y danza ancestral.

El grupo cantara siempre por la vida, por la vida de todos ya que la Amazonía es vida para todo ser que habita en este planeta llamado tierra.
